Happy Snaps Success

From Monday 18th May to Thursday 18th June it was National Smile Month, the aim of which was to raise awareness of good oral health and encourage people to smile. To celebrate, Crossgates ran an associated competition called Happy Snaps.

Whether it was a pampered pet, cherished child or lovely landscape, we invited Facebook followers to submit photos which helped turn their frown upside down. All pictures were uploaded to a Facebook gallery where people could vote for their favourite. The picture with the most votes/likes winning £100 to spend at Crossgates.

The Facebook page was inundated with likes and comments! The campaign achieved an online reach of 32,335 people, engaging 12,964 Facebook followers, with an engagement rate of 40.1%.

The winner of the competition was Sarah Louise Limbert who submitted a picture of her baby son Alfie. Her snap achieved a staggering 576 likes. Sarah chose £50 of Peacocks Vouchers, £40 of Wilko vouchers and £10 of Max Spielmann vouchers as her prize.
