17th October 2017

Families in Leeds will be treated to a fun-packed Halloween this year, with Crossgates Shopping Centre’s array of spooky activity.

On Saturday 28th _ Sunday 29th October, between 11am-4pm daily, the retail centre will be inviting local youngsters in to take part in wicked lucky dips, lantern making workshops, a fancy dress parade and more.

Spooky Saturday (28th October)

The scary Saturday will include complimentary Halloween face painting throughout the day (11am-4pm). The centre’s monstrous money collectors will also be accepting funds for local charities.

From 4pm, children of all ages will be invited to join the fancy dress parade. A representative from the local council will be making a special appearance on the day to judge the best creative costume.

The lucky prize-winner will receive a £50.00 voucher to spend in Crossgates Shopping Centre for their efforts.

Customers will also be able to enter a free-to-enter lucky dip from 11am throughout the weekend, with the opportunity to win a selection of goodies while stocks last, from chocolate treats to Halloween themed toys.

 Sinister Sunday (29th October)

For Sunday’s visitors, the centre will be running workshops between 11am-3pm on how to make your own Halloween masks and lanterns, as well as your own squishy squashy play doh.

Centre Manager, Matthew Middleton, said: “Everyone here at Crossgates is excited to invite the local community in for some Halloween fun. It’s fantastic that we’re able to offer activities and workshops that are both educational and entertaining, at an exciting time of year for kids.

“We look forward to getting stuck in and can’t wait to welcome our customers in to the centre.”
